Uori

This is my character for a mech combat roleplay I've signed up for on [link]
Uori is actually the assumed identity of Siteka DeuNacien, a spirited independent princess from a frozen island chain in the far north. Her father is actually just a skilled artisan that was elected to tyrant status; her mother is a traveling elven monk who has now settled down in the capital. Siteka left at the age of 17, enamored with the world of mech combat.
Uori pilots a graceful, agile mech called the Graceful Slave, which was designed and is maintained by a team of devoted servant mechanics that accompany her. She hopes to become popular (and rich of course) with her natural piloting skills, and also as a beautiful supermodel for the mech combat business and its sponsors.

The original drawing is actually still just a penciled grayscale. I scanned it in and messed with the contrast settings again to bring out the line art. In Photoshop, I used color range selection to seperate the lines to a new layer; the color is all in the background.
This isn't my first excursion into using computer coloring, but I know I've got a long way to go.
I whipped up this drawing rather quickly, actually, primarily because I already had an image in my head for a while (I wrote down her profile for the roleplay using Word).
